Singer Pravasthi Aradhya, who is known for appearing on reality shows like Padutha Teeyaga, has now landed in a major controversy. She made serious allegations against music legends M.M. Keeravani, lyricist Chandrabose, and playback singer Sunitha.
In a viral video, Pravasthi said the three judges harassed her and showed favoritism. She claimed Keeravani gave her better scores only when she sang his songs. She also said he once told her that he “hated” singers who performed at weddings.

She made similar claims against Chandrabose. According to her, he didn’t encourage contestants who didn’t sing his songs. About Sunitha, Pravasthi said she mentally harassed her by making hurtful comments. She also alleged that the production team forced her to wear revealing clothes.
Pravasthi’s allegations that she was asked to wear short clothes and tie her saree lower are ridiculous as Paadutha Teeyaga has historically been stricter than Doordarshan in maintaining traditional dress codes and cultural norms.

Sunitha responded with an emotional and detailed reply. She said the claims were false and unfair. Sunitha reminded Pravasthi of their earlier friendly bond and said she felt sad about the way she was being portrayed. She explained that reality shows follow legal rules, especially when it comes to music rights.
Sunitha also pointed out that if she was really biased, Pravasthi wouldn’t have been chosen to feature with her in a special music video. She added that criticism should be based on facts, not on personal frustration or disappointment after elimination.

Sunitha said today’s young generation often reacts without thinking. “Losing gracefully is also part of growing up,” she said. She shared that even though she had faced many failures in her career but always handled them with dignity.
Many people on social media feel that Pravasthi is blowing things out of proportion. They believe it’s unnecessary to drag a legend like M.M. Keeravani into such petty controversies.
Just because he chooses to stay silent due to his stature, it doesn’t mean anyone can make baseless or silly allegations against him.
