In a bold proclamation, Congress chief Revanth Reddy expressed unwavering confidence in the party’s victory in the upcoming Telangana assembly polls.
He directed a pointed challenge to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, urging him to account for his contributions to the state before scrutinizing the grand old party.
Accusing KCR of overseeing the “most corrupt government in the country,” Revanth Reddy alleged that key portfolios were concentrated within Rao’s family, asserting a fight between the ‘Dorala Sarkar’ (feudal government) and the ‘Prajala Sarkar’ (people’s government) in Telangana.
The Congress leader, in a recent interview, claimed that Hyderabad, a city allegedly subject to financial exploitation by Rao, had been transformed into an information technology hub by the Congress and TDP.
Revanth listed a series of monumental developments—from the Gachibowli stadium to Hitech City, Outer Ring Road, Pharma and IT companies, International Airport, Medical Hub, Educational Hub, Nalsar University, and IIIT—attributing these milestones to the legacy of Congress and TDP.
Challenging the TRS party to identify a single landmark achievement in the past decade, Revanth emphasized that Hyderabad’s software industry had outpaced Bengaluru due to the ecosystem cultivated by Congress and TDP.
Revanth mocked TRS for showing cable bridge and T-Hub, citing them as big achievements in a city like Hyderabad.
He asserted that the roads KCR traversed and the schools and colleges he attended were established by the Congress party.
