It is already known that the YSR Congress Party’s social media cell often targets women and families of rival party leaders, posting offensive content about them on social media. In connection with this issue, YCP social media in-charge Sajjala Bhargav has been under legal scrutiny, while social media convenor Varra Ravindra Reddy has been arrested for the same.
Many other YCP leaders and social media staff have been booked for the offensive posts they made on social media. Now, with the central government giving its approval to punish such offenders, it can be said that difficult times have begun for YCP social media operatives.
