Chandrababu is the chief minister to go to when there is a crisis. Having a career of 40 years plus and handling everything from water crisis to naxalism, he has seen it all.
Now, he has assured the people of Andhra Pradesh not to worry about gas cylinders. He held a meeting with GAIL and ONGC officials along with top bureaucrats.
Chandrababu said that AP had enough storage of LPG gas and shared that the state will get more metric tonnes soon. He asked the officials to take steps to deal with gas crisis in hospitals, hostels and temples. But Babu being Babu, he advised the officials to make sure there was increased supply of induction stoves in the state.
He told the gas companies to increase gas production and told the officials to improve distribution network across the state. Babu had another suggestion. He told the officials to take steps to build a pipeline from the KG (Krishna-Godavari) basin as it has natural gas reserves. Chandrababu had yet another suggestion. He said the officials must educate citizens to use CNG and PNG cylinders to the maximum limit.
It comes as a huge relief to Andhra citizens as people are slowly feeling the impact of West Asia war. With Ugadi round the corner, the Andhra households were eagerly waiting for a resolution by Chandrababu.
