Chandrababu Naidu has turned 75 today. This is the age when serious retirement speculations would begin for any Politician, or many would have already retired.

But Chandrababu Naidu’s age was struck in his 30s when he first started doing Politics: the same health, the same build, the same perseverance, the same commitment.
Naidu was a class apart from the rest of the Politicians in India.

We have seen good leaders, and some leaders are bad.
Most leaders’ memories are only in the history books after their time. But Naidu has a city like Cyberabad, which will remind him forever in every street and every traffic signal.

Naidu had envisioned the computerization of Government offices, Digital Governance, Roads to transform the economy, an International Airport to usher in investments, bringing IT to change lives, and many things.
Today, Naidu talks about Amaravati, Nine Cities, Greenfield Airport, Blockchain Technology, AI for Everyone, and many things.
These things may appear far-fetched to a few people and naysayers.
But then, what Naidu achieved in the 90s was far more far-fetched than what it appears today.
In the 90s when CBN first became the Chief Minister, India was a Poor country and most of the population is still poor, struggling to make both ends meet.
Those are the days when thinking anything beyond feeding mouths is a crime.
Those are the days when the 35 Rupees pension given still matters. Those are the days when the 2 Rupees per kilo rice is Gold dust for many families.
The Governments neither have the resources for such huge ambitions nor the people understand those things.
But Naidu managed to do the impossible, and a city now stands as an example of a man’s vision, perseverance, and ability to make dreams into reality.
So when Naidu embarks on the dream of Amaravati, it may be difficult, but not impossible.
He did not play it safe by announcing an existing state as the Capital. He is building a city from scratch in the area where twenty-nine villages now exist.
Imagine someone building something from scratch. A city on a single man’s name. It will be a joke if it is any other politician.
He is the leader who pulled a state out of poverty, and today, many poor and middle-class families have had their lives transformed due to IT nurtured by Chandrababu Naidu.
And now, the state needs one more push (with Amaravati), which will transform a primarily agrarian state severely affected by the brain drain, with youth leaving to other states in search of employment.
This time, this is not for Naidu. He already has credentials worth a couple of lifetimes for any political leader in India. This time, it is for Andhra Pradesh, and Naidu should succeed for one more time.
