HYDRAA Demolitions have become a hot topic across the state. It’s not just the victims, everyone is talking about the Demolitions. And they are of the opinion it is not fair to go after the houses built by common people with their lifetime earnings.

When Actor Nagarjuna’s N-Convention was demolished, HYDRAA got Revanth Reddy a huge political mileage.

So, what went wrong all of a sudden?
The common man always have a negative opinion about those who are rich. When an actor’s convention center is demolished, they always feel happy about it. Also, not every government goes after the rich. So, the government automatically finds support.

Things changed when the HYDRAA was after the illegal constructions around Musi. Most of these belong to the poor.
A big section of the media and YouTube Channels are giving extensive coverage to the victims particularly women and children who are telling their stories with high dose of sentiment.
Some of the victims are bad-mouthing Revanth Reddy before the media and those videos are bringing more and more views. The environment has become anti-government when these videos go viral.
The narrative slowly shifted to why leave the officials who gave permission and go after the poor.
The Government claims that the Builders are trying to save their properties by keeping the poor at the front. But then, this is not going into the people.
The common man enjoys the show when the rich are attacked but when the poor are attacked, they identify themselves with the victims and take their side.
These demolitions have become a talking point across the state and most people are against the Government on this issue. Revanth Reddy may have to sit back and think if this is wise politically or not.
