Kesineni Nani Hinting At Jagan Stopping Pensions?

Kesineni Nani

Kesineni Nani is becoming restless after being denied the Vijayawada ticket by the TDP. He managed to get the YSR Congress ticket but defeating TDP in Vijayawada is an uphill task and so, the frustration is clearly visible in his words.

Speaking about the instructions of the EC barring Volunteers from distributing Pensions and DBT schemes, Kesineni Nani tried to add more masala saying that the old people will not get pensions for the next three months and will have to face lot of troubles.

“The poor will have a lot of troubles. If pensions are stopped for three months, they will struggle to purchase medicines and other essentials. Their health will be ruined,” Kesineni told the media.

The Election Commission never asked to stop pensions distribution. It has only barred Volunteers from distributing pensions and other schemes.

Another important point in EC’s order is that it has asked the Government to use Government employees for delivering the government schemes.

Basically, the order is only barring the Volunteers from influencing the voters.

But then, going by what Kesineni Nani says, Jagan may order to stop giving pensions or create more troubles in the distribution so that they can send a wrong message that the Opposition stopped pensions or is creating trouble in pensions distribution.

In case they can not risk stopping the pensions before the elections, the Government may not allow Government employees to distribute pensions but will ask the pensioners to go to the nearest panchayat offices for days together and make them stand in big queues unnecessarily to create an impression that the volunteer system is very good and the Opposition is trying to create problems.

Did Kesineni Nani accidentally reveal Jagan’s plan?
