Kesineni Nani is one of the highly influential politicians from Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. After travelling with TDP for a long time, he switched loyalties to YSRCP and even made a statement that he would ensure to eliminate TDP from this region.
However, as people say that Karma is a boomerang, Nani has fallen in a helpless situation now and decided to exit politics.
Post the humiliating defeat in the recently concluded Parliament elections, Kesineni Nani has now decided to take a permanent break from politics.
He made the official announcement regarding the same through his social media handles.
“After careful consideration and reflection I have decided to step away from politics and conclude my political journey. Serving the people of Vijayawada as a Member of Parliament for two terms has been an incredible honor. The resilience and determination of the people of Vijayawada have been my inspiration, and I am profoundly thankful for their unwavering support,” posted Nani.
Kesinani Nani also wrote, “Although I am stepping away from the political arena, my commitment to Vijayawada remains strong. I will continue to support and advocate for the betterment of Vijayawada in any way I can. I wish the new representatives all the best in striving for the development and prosperity of Vijayawada.”
Had Nani stayed with TDP, he would have won the election easily. Not just that, he would also have given a breath of fresh air to his daughter’s political career and if fate is in his favor, he would have taken oath as a central minister by now.
It is clear that Nani underestimated the TDP’s strength this time and over-estimated his own, resulting in a dead-end for his political career.
