AP IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh once again demonstrated his commitment to helping people beyond party lines. On Wednesday, Lokesh responded to an appeal for support from a social media worker of the YSRCP, showing he stands by his words on inclusive welfare.
The worker, Vijay Kumar from Prakasam district, suffered a brain stroke and was hospitalised. A tweet from an account named Rikata reached Lokesh, who promptly arranged medical assistance. His intervention ensured that Kumar received proper treatment without delay.
This is not the first time Lokesh has acted quickly on such requests. He has often responded to citizens’ appeals on social media, particularly in cases of urgent medical needs, earning appreciation for his prompt action.
Visuals of Vijay Kumar receiving treatment are now circulating online. TDP supporters highlight this incident as proof of Lokesh’s people-first approach, noting that he sets politics aside when it comes to addressing human concerns.
