Degrading the stature of a teacher, the former YCP government in Andhra Pradesh asked government school teachers to click pictures of the toilets in school and upload them on the Integrated Maintenance Management System (IMMS) App.
The teachers were asked to upload pictures of washrooms in schools as a part of monitoring the sanitary facilities in government schools.

However, the current Department of Education, under the leadership of Education Minister Nara Lokesh, decided to free teachers from this task.
Lokesh said that there would be another department tasked with doing this work from now on and added that teachers need not do this task.

Taking to social media platform X, Lokesh tweeted, “From now on, Teachers need not to upload toilet pictures from their schools every morning. We stopped this procedure and the option has also been removed from the app.”
“Provide quality education to children. Inculcate discipline and high values among students. We take responsibility for solving all the problems of teachers on a priority basis,” he added.

This was a much-needed change and teachers are thanking Lokesh for solving their issue promptly.
