
Nara Lokesh shared that during elections, the Walkers’ Association members requested him to do away with entry fee at Eco Park, Mangalagiri.
I have spoken to the forest officials regarding the issue. They said that the entry fee was meant for maintaining the forest land and it is a policy around the state. It cannot be changed, they said informed Lokesh.

So, to keep the promise, I paid Rs 5 lakh paid by Eco Park Walkers’ Association annually from my pocket. Lokesh sent out a letter saying that the Mangalagiri people can walk between 6am to 9am without paying any entry fee and enjoy good health.
Lokesh had earlier procured five grass cutting machines for Mangalagiri with his personal money. He also hired 5 workers to cut grass and their wages were also paid by Lokesh from his own pocket.

He also challenged that he would pay Rs 10 crore to whoever proves that data theft was happening through Whatsapp governance.
Lokesh is young blood and does not stop when it comes to addressing small but important issues by paying from his own pocket.
