Telangana elections are around the corner with the polling to be held next week – 30 November. As the race intensifies, the parties have started to amp up their campaigns and last-gasp efforts to win the election.
In a new development, it is established that a leading politician, based on a rural pocket in the Rangareddy district from a prominent party was expecting an MLA ticket. But he was not given the ticket in the end.
What happened later was that the politician switched sides after the other prominent party offered him 3 acres of land. This is a calculated effort from the party as they are confident that the politician can poll 5000 votes in the election, which could be largely helpful.
This is the case with many parts of Telangana as leaders who can poll a substantial number of votes for the parties are receiving costly cars, vehicles, and lands worth lakhs of rupees. This is one interesting way of election management.
All these land and car documents will apparently be registered on the day of the election and the same is being proposed by the leading parties.
