Bigg Boss 9 runner up Thanuja cut her birthday cake in Tirumala along with MLC Duvvada Srinivas and his partner Madhuri. They posted a video on Instagram that went viral and came into notice of TTD authorities.
The netizens are extremely angry with Duvvada couple’s behaviour. But the couple is least bothered. They say that they were unaware of the rules and that the cake was eggless.
Duvvada further justified the act saying Thanuja wanted to visit Tirumala and hence they came along with her for a protocol darshan.
Duvvada couple’s shenanigans in Tirumala have given raise to a debate about the sanctity of Tirumala. In the past, Madhuri made videos in Tirumala very close to the main temple. They were let go with a strong warning.
This time, they went a step further and conducted a cake cutting ceremony. The netizens and the devout are wondering if the Duvvada couple think of Tirumala as a holiday spot. There are many who feel strict action needs to be taken against the couple to make sure no dares to spoil the spirit of Tirumala.
Duvvada is acting innocent, but isn’t it simple common sense to behave appropriately in God’s abode.
