
Aditya Wholesale Mill, a clothing shop in Pune’s Rajgurunagar area caused chaos on Republic Day with its ₹1 dress offer. What seemed like a clever marketing idea quickly turned into a disaster.

However, the store owners were unprepared for the massive crowd. Unable to handle the situation, they shut the store and fled, leaving customers angry and frustrated.
The crowd, mostly women, grew aggressive and demanded the offer be honored.

“If they don’t sell the dresses at ₹1, we’ll break the store,” said one furious customer. The situation escalated when the women blocked the roads (rasta roko), causing a major traffic jam in the area.
The police had to intervene to control the crowd and clear the traffic. However, the incident showcases the irresponsibility of the store owners. No proper planning or safety measures were in place, putting everyone at risk.

This poorly planned stunt caused inconvenience to the public and exposed how dangerous such marketing tricks can be.
