Rakhi stated that Ritesh Singh, who entered Bigg Boss 15 as her husband, was never legally married to her. She referred to him as a “Bhade ka Pati” and claimed the marriage narrative was created for the show.
According to Rakhi, she was facing a severe financial crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic. With no work, mounting loans, and her mother battling cancer, she was struggling to manage expenses at that time.
She claimed Ritesh wanted to participate in Bigg Boss and allegedly offered her around Rs. 3 crore. Rakhi said she accepted the proposal and convinced the Bigg Boss makers that they were married.
Rakhi further revealed that she met Ritesh through an app called Bigo, after which he reportedly sent her nearly Rs. 2 to 3 crore. Later, he allegedly demanded the money back, which she could not return.
She also claimed that Ritesh never informed her about having a wife and children. This revelation has triggered fresh discussions around reality shows and the extent to which personal narratives are staged for television.
