Tariq said the film made him believe in second chances. If Dhoni could rise after struggles, he felt he could also try again. That thought pushed him to leave his job and focus fully on cricket.

He admitted he had earlier given up on making a name in the sport. After watching the movie, his confidence returned. He began training seriously and worked towards rebuilding his career.

Recently, his bowling action came under scrutiny during Australia’s tour of Pakistan. Australia all rounder Cameron Green raised concerns about it.

Tariq responded by explaining that his arm has a rare structure. He said this makes his action appear unusual. However, he clarified that his action has already been cleared twice.

He added that he is confident about its legality. He is not worried about outside comments. According to him, performance matters more than speculation.

With India set to face Pakistan in Colombo, discussions have intensified. However, Tariq said he treats it as a normal match. He believes focusing on hype only creates pressure.

He stated that the team’s aim is simple. Follow strategy, give full effort, and move ahead in the tournament. From working in Dubai to playing on the big stage, his journey has been unique.

Tariq believes one film helped him restart his cricketing dream. And that belief continues to drive him forward.
