In a recent interview, Harbhajan Singh stated how he would love to see his story portrayed in a cinematic way and also named his favorite actors who could provide justice to the role.
He picked Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh as his top choices to play the role and also praised the actors for their dedication and energy on screen.

He stated “Ranveer Singh’s energy and Vicky Kaushal’s intensity – they both could do justice to my story”.
Ranveer Singh previously showcased how well he can portray a character with his performance in 83 portraying Kapil Dev.

While the film didn’t do wonders at the box office, Ranveer’s character was highly praised.
On the other hand, the intensity was indeed on display for Vicky Kaushal during Chhaava. The film garnered over 600 crores during its run at the box office and is the biggest release of the year so far.
