The ongoing season of IPL 2025 has reached the penultimate stage with the opening half of the season getting completed already. Incidentally, a high profile crash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians is happening today at the Hyderabad International Stadium.

There is this one particular incident that happened in the game today that has instantly grabbed the attention on social media.

This was when SRH batsman, Ishan Kishan played an outrageous shot down the leg side and ended up, walking back to the pavilion. The implication that was given was that Kishan perhaps got a faint edge and the ball carried through to the keeper.

However, the replace showed that Kishan did not even touch the ball and he is absolutely not out in this situation.

But strangely enough, Kishan himself walked away even before the umpire actually raised the finger. It turned out that he had nothing to do with the dismissal, but still ended up walking away. What was appearing to be a faint act of sportsmanship turned out to be a disaster.

In this context, people are starting to tweet that there’s some degree of foul play and match fixing in this incident. They’re tweeting about the same actively now and this has become a topic of discussion.
