Anushka has long faced the heat for Virat’s performances and is often dragged into conversations that have nothing to do with her.
With Kholi stepping away from Tests, these trolls have resurfaced yet again blaming Anushka for influencing this decision.
Some even went as far as comparing her to Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, implying Kholi should’ve married someone more “supportive”.
Ironically, Rohit himself announced his retirement from Test just a few days ago.
Virat has been criticized many times for being family oriented instead of focusing on his game but the numbers speak for themselves, Virat’s 9,180 runs, 30 centauries, and 47.03 average far outshine Rohit’s 5,071 runs, 14 centuries, and 41.39 average.
It is no doubt that both have build iconic , individual legacies. Yet instead of honoring the end of an era, a section of the internet is busy fueling controversy.
