Flight Passenger Opens Exit Door Possessed by Ghost?

IndiGo Passenger Incident

A mid air incident on an IndiGo flight from Bengaluru to Varanasi created panic among passengers. A traveller allegedly tried to open the emergency exit door twice during the journey, raising serious concerns about flight safety and passenger behaviour.

The passenger, identified as Mohammad Adnan from Uttar Pradesh, was travelling on flight 6E 185. Officials said the first attempt happened shortly after takeoff. Cabin crew noticed the act and intervened quickly, issuing a warning after he called it a mistake.

For some time, the situation appeared normal. However, just minutes before landing at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, the passenger again attempted to tamper with the emergency exit. This second attempt created tension inside the cabin.

The crew immediately informed the pilot, who carried out a go around to ensure safety. The landing was delayed as a precaution. The aircraft later landed safely without further issues, preventing any serious consequences.

After landing, the passenger was taken into custody by security officials and handed over to the police. During questioning, he reportedly claimed that he was possessed by a ghost, which added a strange twist to the incident.

Such actions cannot be treated lightly, as aviation safety depends on strict rules and discipline. Any interference with emergency systems can put lives at risk. The crew’s timely response played a crucial role in avoiding a potential disaster.
