Iran has pushed back strongly against a reported U.S. 15-point plan aimed at ending the ongoing conflict, calling it one-sided and unacceptable.
According to reports, the proposal includes demands such as stopping uranium enrichment, limiting missile programs, and cutting support to regional groups. Tehran, however, sees these as excessive conditions that offer little in return.
Despite the public rejection, the situation is not fully closed.
Backchannel talks are still being explored through countries like Pakistan and Turkey, indicating that both sides are not ready to walk away completely. Iran is also believed to be pushing its own terms, including sanctions relief and reduced U.S. presence in the region.
For now, there is no agreement and no ceasefire.
Publicly, the tone is tough. Privately, talks may still be alive. That gap is where the situation stands today.
Below are the conditions from Iran, if international news reports are to be believed:
Iran’s Conditions:
1. Immediate end to attacks and assassinations on Iran
2. Establishment of concrete guarantees against future U.S. attacks
3. Clear determination and guaranteed payment for war damages
4. International recognition of Iran’s authority over the Strait of Hormuz
5. An end to the war across all fronts, including for all Iranian proxy groups in the region
