Akshay Kumar is making headlines with his latest release Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Arshad Warsi in a courtroom comedy. Old videos of the actor are now going viral on social media. One such clip from the interview show Aap Ki Adalat has caught attention.
In the video, host Rajat Sharma accuses him of benefiting from other people’s loss. Responding with humour, Akshay revealed that one of the biggest decisions of his life was linked to a co-star’s box office failure.
Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna, who was once an actress, did not find much success in films. Though her career was considered a flop, she later reinvented herself as an author and became a respected public figure.
At the time when Akshay proposed, Twinkle was still acting. She had signed a major film titled Mela with Aamir Khan. However, the film failed badly, and that became the turning point.
Twinkle then agreed to marry Akshay. In a light-hearted remark, Akshay said he was sad about Aamir’s flop but happy that it gave him a wife and a long-lasting marriage.
