Akshay Kumar is working hard to win the hearts of the audience after he delivered a lineup of disasters in the last two years. As per the latest update, the actor is collaborating with Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan for a new project.
Although the official title was not revealed, the upcoming project would be based on the life of barrister C. Sankaran Nair. The poster reads that it would focus on a legal battle fought by Nair against the British Empire after the shocking cover-up of a massacre.

The new film would be produced by Karan Johar and further details about the same were also announced through the Instagram page of Dharma Productions. It is arriving on the big screen on March 14 next year and will be helmed by Karan Singh Tyagi.
Although the fate of the film will be decided on the day of release, it seems like Akshay is preparing to add another disaster to his list. The reason is that the upcoming film is a biography.

Audiences are tired of watching real-life stories of different individuals. We have witnessed the results this year with films such as Sarfira, Maidaan, and Chandu Champion.
On the other hand, Ananya’s addition might contribute to its failure considering that she has hardly delivered any hit film in her career. Furthermore, audiences have not even shown any interest in buying tickets for Ananya’s film in the past.
Although Karan Johar has been successful as a producer, his name won’t be enough to pull the audience. His films have hardly worked after the COVID-19 pandemic, including the recent release, Jigra.
Apart from this, Akshay Kumar’s overexposure with multiple films in a year might lead to its failure.
