Diljit Dosanjh Leaves Border 2?! Fans Shocked

Ammy Virk Diljit Dosanjh

Diljit Dosanjh is all about breaking barriers, but this time around he finds himself at the center of a controversy that has left the audience fuming, with rumors swirling around that he might just lose his role in Border 2.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has officially boycotted Diljit due to the controversy over his casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in his latest film, Sardaarji 3.

FWICE found Diljit’s collaboration with a Pakistani artist disrespectful of the Indian sentiments, following which they stated that recognizing and removing “traitors” from film projects was necessary.

After the Pahalgam terror attack, India had revoked its ban on working with Pakistani artists, but Diljit didn’t pay heed to it and cast Hania as a costar irrespective of the consequences.

Some reports suggest that this move has led to producers dropping Diljit from Border 2 and casting Ammy Virk as a replacement.

However, many have strongly refuted these claims, with some industry insiders confirming that Diljit is still very much a part of Border 2.

In fact, nearly 50% of the film has already been shot with him, and replacing him now would require additional budget changes.

This situation has putsl immense pressure and stress on the producers as well as the entire team.

Some fans revealed that Nidhi Dutta, the producer for Border 2, is currently expecting her first child, and the ongoing controversy must be difficult for her as well.

The film industry has always been unpredictable, but despite that, it’s important to remember that these people are still human. Apart from Diljit, many have put time and effort into the making of the film so far.

Fans believe that one person’s choice should not be the reason for another’s downfall.

Even though FWICE is strongly pushing their sentiments on the public, it’s crucial to be considerate towards other artists who are just caught in the crossfire.
