YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani recently appeared on Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out podcast, where he spoke openly about his past struggles with weight. He said his weight became a major part of how people defined his identity, which deeply affected his confidence.

Ashish Chanchlani explained that while obesity did not bother him initially, it became distressing when people focused only on his weight and ignored his work. He said people often reduced him to a single trait when they found nothing else to comment on.

He added that becoming fit and healthy changed many aspects of his life. According to him, people began treating him with more respect. He said industry people viewed him very differently in 2023 compared to how they see him now.

The 32-year-old, who also anchored the recent Varanasi event in Hyderabad, said fame and money were not enough. He felt the need to prove himself and become healthier. This push came from personal growth rather than public pressure.

Apart from his fitness journey, Ashish Chanchlani is busy with the finale episode of his YouTube web series Ekaki. The horror-comedy show received average to decent reviews despite early criticism. The final chapter is yet to be released on YouTube.
