Initially Jaat was being promoted as a film by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory — two biggies from the South.
But just days before release something strange happened. Zee Studios which hadn’t promoted the film at all till then suddenly popped up in the credits.

Their logo started flashing in all the prints and their social media handles started promoting the film from April 2.
Sources from the Bollywood media reveal that Mythri was facing a last-minute cash crunch. With release day closing in they needed a solid financial push.

That’s when Sunny Deol — fresh from the success of Gadar 2 — stepped in. Known for his strong ties with Zee Studios, Sunny reportedly suggested that Zee help Mythri out.
Mythri mortgaged the Hindi rights of some of their big 2025 and 2026 films in return for a 65-crore loan.
And as part of the deal Zee’s name was added to the list of producers for Jaat. No drama no noise — just a behind the scenes handshake that got the job done.
The film released on April 10 and earned 9.62 crores on Day 1. But…Why Did Mythri Need a Loan at All?

These are the folks behind Pushpa: The Rise and with Pushpa 2 expected to set the box office on fire later this year people are wondering — “Pushpa 2 se itna paisa kamaane ke baad, unko loan ki zarurat kyun pad gayi?”
