The 1000-crore mark has become the new standard for a pan-India movie to be considered successful. The first film to reach this milestone was Dangal in 2016, thanks to its extraordinary success in China, bringing its worldwide total to around 2000 crores.
Baahubali 2 followed, grossing approximately 1700 crores globally. Subsequent films like KGF 2, RRR, Pathaan, and Jawan have also entered the 1000-crore club.
