That’s exactly the case with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He’s among the most powerful storytellers of this generation, and his box-office numbers prove it. Yet, his slow working pace continues to raise eyebrows.
After Arjun Reddy in 2017, he’s delivered only two films Animal and Kabir Singh in eight years. That’s roughly one film every four years. While other directors are racing ahead with multiple projects, Sandeep seems to take the opposite route.
His upcoming project with Prabhas, titled Spirit, is already in early production, and reports say he’s even completed its background score. Still, better time management is expected from someone of his calibre.
When production timelines stretch too long, opportunities slip away. The audience eagerly waits for Sandeep’s next masterpiece, but it’s time he balances creativity with speed to make the most of his prime.
