Danam Nagender

Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender was one of the first BRS MLAs to defect to Congress. So far, seven BRS MLAs have switched to the Congress Party.

Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud also announced his defection to Congress and is expected to join the party today or tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Danam Nagender said that six or more MLAs would join Congress in the next two days. He also predicted that the BRS merger with Congress would happen in the next 15 days, leaving KCR’s party with only three or four MLAs.

Recently, BRS Working President KT Ramarao accused Danam Nagender of unethically defecting to Congress after winning with a BRS ticket and also contesting for an MP’s seat within six months. He said that BRS would file a case against Danam for the same.

Responding to KTR’s accusations, Danam challenged him to file a case and said he would fight it in court. He also warned KTR to check if his party would survive by the time he files the case.

Danam said that he read in a newspaper where KTR says that a regional party should be like TDP if it wants to stay strong.

“TDP is strong because it is led by an able leader. That party gives respect to its leaders and MLAs. Have you done the same,” Danam questioned KTR.

Danam stated that during BRS’s rule, MLAs couldn’t get an appointment to meet KCR, and even if they did, they had to wait for hours.

He accused KTR and KCR of being inaccessible to their own MLAs during their rule and treating MLAs like insects. He said people who have self-respect will not stay in BRS.

He said there is more freedom for MLAs in Congress, which is why many BRS MLAs are switching to Congress.

Danam Nagender also stated that with KTR’s help, many people earned crores through corruption and added that he will reveal all their details at the right time.

Going by what Danam says, BRS will come down from 38 MLAs to three-four in just fifteen days.
