BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao arrived in the Palair constituency of Khammam district today to lead a high-stakes training camp for party cadre. Addressing nearly 300 selected representatives at Sriharsha Convention hall, he outlined a tech-driven shift in the party’s grassroots strategy.
The conference focused on executing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), a critical audit of the Election Commission’s voter lists. KTR instructed the cadre to monitor the SIR process across all ten constituencies of the erstwhile Khammam district to prevent the targeted deletion of legitimate votes.
Simultaneously, the camp served as the launchpad for a fully digitized BRS membership enrollment drive using a dedicated mobile application. Moving away from paper-based methods, two representatives from each polling booth will now conduct door-to-door digital registrations.
The new app mandates uploading live photographs and location coordinates, with membership fees processed strictly online to ensure transparency. This technological overhaul signals a focused attempt by the BRS leadership to systematically rebuild its foundational network in this key district.
Senior leaders, including MLC Tata Madhusudhan and former MLA Kandala Upender Reddy, joined the session to organize five-member mandal-level coordination committees. These teams will track live metrics of the digital enrollment and voter revision drive over the coming weeks.
