Andhra Pradesh IT Minister, Nara Lokesh has been doing a very solid job when it comes to inviting big investments to the state. The government is promising significant incentives to big investors in order to create a solid infrastructure in the state, which can be used to build a bigger platform.
Now as a part of enhancing the medical scene in Andhra Pradesh, Lokesh has gone the extra miles to secure a new investment in Vizag in the form of the arrival of the AIG Hospital.
For the last few years, Andhra Pradesh politicians had been facing several complaints for travelling to Hyderabad for medical needs. There is the growing narrative that Andhra Pradesh does not have the adequate medical resources to provide high end treatment.
This can be addressed only with the arrival of big names like AIG Hospital and that is precisely what is happening in Vizag now.
AIG is one of the leading medical institutions in Hyderabad and has the history of treating some of the most privileged personalities in the city. So if they can replicate this medical service in Andhra Pradesh, then this could be a big boost to the entire state.
This AIG Hospital in Vizag is going to be a ₹2000 crore investment and it will have 1000 bedded units for medical care. It is also going to create 9000 jobs, which is going to be the Cherry on the top.
Vizag is already comprehensive and robust city in Andhra Pradesh, and it will be further elevated with such big scale investments.
