From Promise To School, Pawan Kalyan Delivers

Pawan Kalyan Pedapadu school project

Pawan Kalyan has fulfilled his promise to construct a new school building for tribal children in Pedapadu village of Alluri Sitharama Raju district.

The newly constructed primary school building, built at a cost of around ₹17.5 lakh, has now been completed and is expected to begin serving students from the upcoming academic year.

The promise dates back to April last year, when Pawan Kalyan visited Pedapadu village in Dumbriguda mandal under the Araku constituency during the “Adavi Thalli Bata” outreach program.

During the visit, he interacted with villagers, reviewed local infrastructure problems and inspected the condition of the village primary school. Teachers reportedly informed him that the old school building had become unsafe and badly damaged.

Primary school teacher Rangayya requested a new building for the students. Responding immediately, Pawan Kalyan publicly assured villagers that a new school would be constructed.

Now, with the building completed, villagers say the promise has finally turned into reality.

For families in the remote tribal region, the project is being viewed as much more than a simple infrastructure upgrade. In areas where even basic educational facilities remain a challenge, a proper school building can make a significant difference for children.

What also stands out is that the promise was actually completed. In many rural and tribal areas, people often hear announcements during political visits without seeing visible work later on. That is why this project is drawing attention locally.

The development also strengthens Pawan Kalyan’s image of directly responding to issues raised during village visits rather than limiting such outreach programs to symbolic interactions.

In tribal regions where infrastructure gaps still exist, even a relatively small project like a school building can carry long-term social value.

For Pedapadu villagers, the new school is not just about classrooms. It is being seen as proof that at least some promises made during political tours are reaching the ground.
