Sena Prasthanam: Nation Over Party, Says Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan at Delhi political conclave

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan delivered a powerful keynote address at a high-profile national conclave in New Delhi titled ‘Sena Prasthanam for National Integrity’.

Marking 12 eventful years since the inception of his party, the special meeting brought together Jana Sena MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and senior political representatives not just from the Telugu states, but also from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

Addressing the diverse gathering, Pawan Kalyan made it clear that while his party deeply respects linguistic diversity and regional aspirations, preserving the nation’s core unity and sovereignty will always stand far above basic political gains or localized elections.

Reflecting on his turbulent 12-year political journey, the actor-politician shared that when he first founded Jana Sena with just a handful of followers, he had no calculated roadmap for acquiring power or winning seats.

He moved forward strictly driven by a long-term commitment to the country’s progress, weathering severe electoral defeats without compromising on his core principles. Kalyan pointed out that by sticking to their foundational ethics, the party has successfully scaled from a small movement of one lakh members to a robust organization of over 20 lakh registered members, culminating in their recent landmark victory of winning 21 Assembly and 3 Lok Sabha seats.

The Delhi conclave also served as a calculated platform to address contemporary political challenges, specifically targeting the rising trend of regional discrimination.

Kalyan strongly criticized political mindsets that attempt to create artificial division between North and South India, warning that such rhetoric poses a severe threat to the country’s fabric.

He also expressed his deep dissatisfaction over being heavily restricted by opposition forces during a recent proposed gathering in Hyderabad.

By holding this massive meet in the national capital, the Jana Sena leadership effectively signaled its readiness to expand its organizational footprint beyond Andhra Pradesh and present its distinct ideological vision to a much wider, pan-Indian audience.
