It is known that YSRCP is doing its best to reduce the number of postal ballot votes in the counting process. The Supreme Court denied YSRCP’s appeal not to count postal votes if the form did not have the seal and signature of a higher authority.
TDP held a session for its agents on how the counting process would work and what necessary steps the party agents should take during counting.
Chandrababu Naidu alerted the alliance’s contested candidates about counting postal ballot votes.
According to sources, some TDP contestants are deploying their advocates as counting agents for postal ballots. Guntur Parliament candidate Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is following this strategy and Vijayawada Central MLA candidate Bonda Uma as well.
Nimra College in Ibrahimpatnam is the counting center for the Vijayawada MP and seven Assembly segments. For Vijayawada Central, there are 14 tables and 6 tables separately for postal ballot counting.
Anticipating numerous queries from YSRCP on postal ballots, Bonda Uma has deployed 6 advocates for postal ballot counting. They will counter any objections raised by YSRCP during the counting process.
