Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been remanded for 14 days and was shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail. TDP is moving the House Motion Petition in the High Court for Bail.
For the first time in 28 years, TDP will be without the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu. This is one of the biggest crises TDP ever faced since its inception. Now, the onus is on Lokesh to ensure that there is no dearth of leadership.

With elections six months to go and the first-of-its-kind crisis, all eyes are on Lokesh to steer the party to safety.

With the kind of pleasure the ruling party leaders resolved from Chandrababu’s arrest, they would want more of it. Each and every strong leader of TDP will be targeted in days to come.
But then, after Chandrababu’s arrest, there will be no other threat or challenge that will be bigger and more intense than this one. There is also nothing more valuable to lose. So, it’s time to take everything on the chin.

The shadow of Chandrababu is so long that TDP is bound to face this leadership crisis sooner or later. Just that it has come at an unexpected time and without much preparation time for Lokesh.
Lokesh evolved so much as a leader after that defeat in 2019. He took that to the next level with Yuva Galam Padayatra. The General Public started recognizing his evolution. This will be a defining phase for him and also the party.
Padayatra made him closer to the people, he understands people more than ever, and people look at him more positively than before and that should be enough to motivate himself.
Fully charged and angry TDP cadre will stand by him. He should make this crisis as an opportunity. They say Heroes made in the most challenging situations. People adore such leaders. Cometh the hour, Cometh the man!
