The controversy around impurities in Tirumala laddoo reached a point where the present Andhra Pradesh government has decided to test the laddoos quality to the trillionth particle.
CM Chandrababu will be inaugurating the lab on March 21. After devotees doubting the entire supply chain of the laddoos, the Chandrababu government has decided to set up a lab in Tirumala. TTD is setting up the FSSAI testing lab with utmost modern technology.
The quality check is going to be state of art and all the raw materials like ghee, lentils and other food items used will undergo rigorous tests before they are used to make the laddoos.
When the laddoo controversy broke, it was found that the materials used in laddoos had various adulterated items including those seen in cobwebs, presence of bacteria, etc. With the new lab, all elements will be tested.
The devotees can heave a sigh of relief as the laddoos will now be pure. It is a sweet new year gift for Tirumala devotees indeed.
