Jagan’s Controversial Statement on Chandrababu

YS Jagan criticises Chandrababu Naidu

YSR Congress leader YS Jagan recently made a controversial statement against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan accused the Andhra Pradesh government of ignoring the problems faced by farmers.

He claimed that Chandrababu, who promised to create wealth for the state, was instead selling government lands for very low prices, which he called ‘pappu bellalu’ or peanuts. Jagan went so far as to say that Chandrababu should “jump into a well.”

Jagan further said the situation in the state is so bad that it feels like there is no government. He highlighted the poor condition of farmers in Chandrababu’s own constituency, Kuppam. According to Jagan, there has been no real progress or growth in Andhra Pradesh. Yet, Chandrababu still claimed that the Super Six scheme was successful.

Jagan accused the current government of running on a “loot, share, and eat” policy. He reminded that Chandrababu was Chief Minister three times until 2019 but never built a medical college. He asked people to imagine a situation without government schools, colleges, and RTC bus complexes.

Jagan also said that during his own tenure, no farmer protested over urea shortages. Since government officers remain the same despite the change in CM, he questioned why shortages now exist. He alleged that TDP leaders have diverted fertilisers to create a black market, causing the shortage.

He called it a scam worth ₹250 crore and demanded to know why the government has not taken action.
