Hidden Cams in Police Hostel? 600 Lady Cops Explode

Gorakhpur: 600 Women Police Trainees Protest Over Hidden Cameras

In a disturbing incident from Gorakhpur, nearly 600 female police trainees staged a protest at the PAC training center, raising concerns over living conditions and privacy violations.

The center, designed to accommodate 360 trainees, was housing over 600, leading to overcrowding and discomfort. Trainees complained about dirty toilets, poor-quality food, and shortage of clean drinking water.

One of the most serious allegations was the suspected presence of hidden cameras near bathrooms. Some trainees claimed they saw suspicious devices and feared their privacy had been compromised.

The situation escalated when officials allegedly ignored their complaints. Many women came out crying, shouting, and demanding proper action and safety inside the premises.

Senior police officials, including the ADG and SSP, arrived to control the situation and listen to the concerns. They assured the trainees that the matter would be taken seriously.

Initial inspections did not confirm the presence of any hidden cameras. However, a thorough investigation has been promised to ensure there was no violation of privacy.

Steps are being taken to improve the condition of toilets, drinking water, food, and living arrangements. Additional facilities are expected to be arranged soon to manage the excess number of trainees.

While the allegations of surveillance remain unconfirmed, the protest exposed deep flaws in the training center’s management and infrastructure.

This incident reflects the need for stronger safety protocols and better conditions, especially in training centers for women. Even the perception of a privacy breach can cause psychological harm.

The matter is under investigation, and updates are expected once the inquiry is complete. Meanwhile, the focus remains on ensuring that such environments are safe, hygienic, and respectful for all women in uniform.
