Indra Kumar had openly expressed in a katha (religious gathering) that he couldn’t marry because he was a farmer, also mentioning his ownership of 18 acres of land.

Saibo Bano, who saw the video of his statement, contacted him on social media under the fake identity of Khusi Tiwari. She presented a forged Aadhaar card to appear genuine and soon invited him to meet her.

The two got married, and Bano allegedly convinced Indra Kumar to sign an affidavit stating that after his death, all his property would belong to her.

Soon after, she gave him sleeping pills, murdered him with knives, looted his money and jewellery, and fled the scene.

The incident shocked the local community and highlighted the dangers of online interactions and deceitful relationships.

Investigators traced Bano’s identity, uncovered her real background, and arrested her after a thorough probe.

This horrifying case is a grim reminder for everyone to exercise caution before trusting strangers online or making life-changing decisions hastily.

Families must ensure proper background checks before marriage.

Authorities should work towards stricter verification processes to prevent such manipulative crimes, ensuring justice for victims like Indra Kumar and safety for others.
