Smaller Than Toilet: 25K Rent For Living in Cage!

25K Rent For Living in Banglore Flat

A video showcasing a shockingly small Bengaluru flat being rented for ₹25,000 per month has gone viral, leaving people questioning the city’s housing crisis. In the clip, the tenant demonstrates just how cramped the space is.

Standing in the middle, he easily touches both walls. When lying down, he can reach the opposite wall with his feet and hand. The so-called balcony is barely big enough for one person to stand uncomfortably.

Trying to find humor in the situation, the tenant jokes, “At least I won’t waste money on furniture, there’s no space for it!” But social media reacted differently. One user quipped, “My toilet is bigger than this,” while another mocked, “This room ends before it even starts!” Some compared Bengaluru’s housing problems to Mumbai’s notorious space crunch, with one user predicting, “Pune will be like this soon.”

This isn’t the first time such an absurd listing has surfaced. Last year, a ₹45,000/month 1BHK in Mumbai went viral for its bizarre layout, featuring a washing machine placed above the toilet.

As property prices and rent continue to climb, these tiny, overpriced flats are becoming more common. Many now wonder if this is the future of urban housing in India, where affordability is sacrificed for the bare minimum of living space.
