
It has been many years since India and Pakistan had taken part in a bilateral cricketing series. This is due to the prevailing tense situations between the two countries at a political level.
In this context, the latest developments are suggesting that India has decided to end any sort of cricketing relationships with Pakistan as well.

While it is known that India bilateral series against Pakistan, it is now established that the BCCI has decided to end any sort of bilateral series plans with Pakistan in the future as well.
This is a permanent decision and the BCCI has communicated that there will be no more bilateral series with Pakistan in the future either.

This decision has been taken in view of the recent terrorism act that happened in Pahalgam of Jammu Kashmir.
The Indian authorities have decided to put as much pressure as possible in Pakistan and this decision in Cricketing terms is equivalent of the same.

This comes shortly after the prevailing warring situation in Kashmir between India and Pakistani forces. More importantly, the terrorism camps that are being nurtured and encouraged by Pakistan have become a topic of concern.
India will continue to play ICC tournaments against Pakistan, but there will be no sort of action in connection with bilateral series.
