India is definitely showing high potential in terms of tech, as the country is indeed a center of foreign investment and self-made tech development. Even a recent report shows that the country, though currently not racing as one of the top AI developing countries, has the brightest future.
And Microsoft, with its recent venture, has all the plans to capitalize on this phenomenon.
Microsoft introduced AI Odyssey, a month-long initiative aiming to educate 100,000 Indian developers in AI tools. Open to all enthusiasts, it welcomes participants irrespective of their industry background or experience.
The program, culminating by January 31, 2024, offers two levels. The first delves into utilizing Azure AI services for diverse applications, providing code samples and guides.
The second involves an online assessment with interactive lab tasks, granting participants Microsoft Applied Skills credentials.
Those completing both program levels can vie for a VIP Pass to the Microsoft AI Tour in Bangalore on February 8, 2024, fostering meaningful AI contributions to India’s economy.
Microsoft India’s Managing Director, Irina Ghose, emphasized AI’s role in innovation and India’s tech leadership.
“AI is the future of innovation, and India is leading the way with its tech talent. The Microsoft Applied Skills credential will help developers demonstrate their competence and creativity in the most in-demand AI skills and scenarios. We welcome all developers to join us in creating meaningful AI solutions that will contribute to India’s economy.”
