Ustaad Bhagat Singh: Will Pawan Kalyan Suffer Like Prabhas?

Pawan Kalyan Ustaad Bhagat Singh booking delay

Pawan Kalyan fans are growing increasingly anxious as advance bookings for “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” have still not opened in the Nizam region. With only two days left for the film’s release, the delay has sparked concern among fans eager to book their tickets.

Although the government order permitting ticket price revisions has already been issued, full-scale bookings have not yet begun across Andhra Pradesh either. A few theatres, however, have started selling tickets for early morning benefit shows scheduled from 4 AM. Industry sources expect that bookings across the state will open completely by tomorrow.

In the Nizam region, producers Mythri Movie Makers appear to be taking a cautious approach. According to sources, the team wants to avoid a situation similar to what happened during the Sankranti release of “The Raja Saab.” At that time, delays in government approvals created confusion and affected ticket sales.

To avoid a repeat of that scenario, the producers are reportedly discussing an alternative plan with distributors. If the Telangana government order arrives late, the team may begin bookings for shows that do not require special permissions, such as the regular 8 AM screenings. This would allow theatres to open ticket sales without waiting until the last minute.

During the Raja Saab release, tensions escalated near Vimal Theatre in Hyderabad when fans gathered late at night amid uncertainty around ticket sales, eventually leading to chaos and lathi charge. The makers of “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” should be keen on preventing any such incidents.

Discussions are currently going on between the producers and distributors to finalize the plan, though it remains unclear how quickly the issue will be resolved. The delay continues despite the Supreme Court of India dismissing the 90-day restriction that had earlier been mentioned in the Telangana High Court decision.

Dhurandhar 2 bookings are phenomenal across all areas, including Telugu territories like Nizam.

With Pawan Kalyan’s massive fan base, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is still expected to pull in huge crowds once bookings open fully, at least for the first day.
