Clarity of thought and the ability to execute are the two crucial aspects of any successful politician, and this is the differentiating factor between YS Jagan and his counterpart Chandrababu Naidu.
Jagan has been largely confused about his own stand on the capital. In 2014, he approved Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh and then shifted to Vizag after the 2019 election while playing games with three capitals proposal.
Confusion on the capital, a new point of high after announced the plan of developing Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur MaViGun as the new capital. For a large extent, he looked absolutely clueless about the capital of the state.
This is perhaps on the first time in Indian politics that a former chief minister has changed his word on something as crucial as the capital of the state so many times.
In stark contrast to this, we have the case of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, who has been working with incredible precision and determination. He has been very firm on developing Amaravati as the capital and is getting it done quickly.
Right from the central grants to the private investments and social infrastructure, Chandrababu has been on the job from the first day. This is a clear case of working towards a purpose and a veteran like Chandrababu is much ahead of a conventional youngster like Jagan.
