On Saturday Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a BJP rally in Gadwal, pledged a unique electoral promise, declaring that if the BJP prevails in the upcoming Telangana Assembly polls, the party will cover all expenses for citizens to travel to Ayodhya and visit the newly constructed Ram Mandir.
Some folks on social media are criticizing the promise made by BJP about covering expenses for people to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya if they win in Telangana.
They are questioning whether this offer is only for BJP-ruled states or if people from other places will miss out. The critics are also asking if the Ram Mandir was funded by the BJP itself, if not then why are they charging for darshan of a temple which was built by people’s money?
Some said it’s not right to mix politics with religious places, urging parties to focus on development rather than making promises linked to temples. Many suggested that BJP’s focus on religious promises overshadow the need for development, jobs, agricultural reforms, and healthcare improvements – the issues that the people of Telangana prioritize.
Looks like BJP has already given up and has lost all the hopes about winning in Telangana as their manifesto lacks substance that might attract Telangana people, who are looking for concrete plans and actions rather than what they perceive as empty assurances.
