₹9,076 Crore Push: Naidu Cabinet Clears 11 Mega Projects

Naidu Cabinet approves mega projects

In a major push toward state infrastructure development and economic revival, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, cleared a series of high-priority policy decisions at the Velagapudi Secretariat earlier today, July 10, 2026.

This crucial session focused heavily on ratifying massive industrial investments and delivering long-awaited relief to families who contributed their lands for capital development. These measures mark a strategic step forward for the state’s growth blueprint by balancing commercial expansion with social welfare.

The foremost highlight of the meeting was the final cabinet ratification of eleven mega-investment proposals previously vetted by the 19th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB).

Totaling an outlay of approximately ₹9,076 crore, these industrial projects span critical sectors including ethanol production, clean energy, and food processing. These initiatives are projected to create over 10,000 jobs while prioritizing agricultural synergy through land allocations for a modern aquarium facility and an International Sports City.

Crucially, the government addressed long-standing grassroots concerns by formally passing an agricultural loan waiver of up to ₹1.50 lakh for families in seven villages involved in the Amaravati land pooling scheme.

This relief directly benefits farmers who surrendered land for trunk roads and transit corridors, while the cabinet also validated doubling monthly rental assistance to ₹10,000 for displaced residents. These outcomes reinforce the administration’s intent to rebuild Amaravati efficiently while maintaining the trust of the rural community.
