BRS chief KCR’s niece Ramya Rao has drawn attention with fresh allegations against her own party leaders. On Monday, she visited the Enforcement Directorate office and formally submitted a complaint, intensifying political discussions across Telangana.
Ramya Rao lodged a complaint against BRS MP Santosh Rao, seeking a detailed probe into alleged land grab cases linked to him. She reportedly submitted documents related to suspected irregular land transactions and urged authorities to examine his property records carefully.
Addressing the media later, Ramya Rao said the matter required a thorough investigation. She maintained that the allegations were serious and deserved scrutiny by central agencies to establish the truth behind the disputed land dealings.
Her move comes days after Kavitha, KCR’s daughter and former BRS member, accused party leaders of involvement in land grab activities. The timing of these statements has fuelled public curiosity about possible irregularities during BRS’s ten-year rule.
Political observers believe the allegations could pose serious challenges for BRS if pursued aggressively. Analysts note that swift action by the ruling Congress may significantly impact the party and bring alleged land scams into sharper focus.
