Revanth Reddy Government recently finished 420 days in Power and BRS is organizing protests across the state with the slogan of ‘420 Days of 420 Government’.
The BRS prepared a booklet of 420 Promises (that are mostly unkept) and distributed them to all its cadre. The cadre will protest at Gandhi statues across the state and is giving Requisition Letters to the Mahatma against this Government.

The BRS believes that there is massive incumbency against this Government already.
But Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is not showing signs of worry or lack of confidence.

There are media reports that the Chief Minister asked officials to see if all the local elections can be completed in one go. He also instructed the Party Machinery to study if such a plan would be beneficial to the party or not.
The plan is to complete all local elections by March 21st. Sarpanch Elections will happen first and then the elections of MPTCs and ZPTCs. Immediately after that the Municipal Elections will take place.

Special Officers administration has been going on in the Panchayats for the last thirteen months and from the 27th of this month, the 127 Municipalities have also gone the same way.
Normally, the Governments delay the local elections if they suspect anti-incumbency because negative results will impact the Government’s image and will also activate the Opposition. In such cases, the Governments will not hold local elections until the Courts pressure them.
But Revanth Reddy wants to finish off these elections without any force indicating that he has no fears of anti-incumbency.
If the elections happen before March 21st and the results come the Congress way, it will be a huge blow to BRS politically.
BRS already skipped the MLC elections. After a debacle in the Assembly elections and disaster in Parliament elections, BRS should perform in the Local Elections at any cost.
