The “One Nation – One Election” bill was proposed by the BJP to implement the policy of holding all state assembly and Lok Sabha elections simultaneously across the country. While NDA parties supported this decision, the INDI Alliance parties strongly opposed it, claiming it would lead to dictatorship in India.

Meanwhile, people are surprised by this move by the Modi government and are curious to know the reason behind the sudden removal of the bill from the agenda. They are wondering if the Modi government took a U-Turn on this decision. Hopefully, all doubts will be cleared soon.
