The leader of Jana Sena, Pawan Kalyan, has leveled serious accusations against the YS Jagan administration’s Grama Volunteers System.
He claims that the system is resulting in the disappearance of women and the misuse of personal data for the electoral advantage of the YSRCP. In response, the ruling party has launched a vile counterattack against Pawan Kalyan.
During an address to party leaders and women activists in Eluru, Pawan Kalyan also boasted about his stardom. He said, “I am one of the big actors in the country. As a normal hero not competing with other top heroes, I work for around 200 days in a year and earn about 400 crores. But if I decide to compete, I can also earn 1000–1500 crores easily, that is my capacity. But I am more interested in the welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh.”
Pawan once again raised concerns about the Grama Volunteers System at the party meeting, alleging potential misuse of personal data and the involvement of missing women. He called for accountability under the Data Protection Act and urged people to reconsider sharing personal information with the volunteers.
